Today we invested time with our friends as six of us were together for lunch and an afternoon of conversation and memory catching up. It is a privilege to be able to be with friends, friends you love, trust and are excited to be with. Today was just that day, sharing, caring, hugging, laughing, giggling, and gluing memories together with the common denominator of Christian brother and sisterhood.
That is close to the top of good as it gets.

Working on stuff
what a day, Barb has been with her mom, I have been working on several projects and the best part we both have been spending time with Dave and Sybil Eberhart from Surprise, AZ. They have been visiting for a few days before their summer work starts in Estes Park.
Now, I have a logo completed and I am off to dream land.

Home Safely
After 4,100 miles of traveling, visiting, teaching, preaching and seeing Chaplain's in 5 states, we are home for the summer.
Our mission trip was successful and fulfilling. There is a world out there of hope and direction, we were able to see a small portion of the work God is doing in our world!
When we were in Benson, AZ we saw this cafe, typical of the 50's era, we didn't have time to eat there, it is on the list for the next trip!

Chilly
The chill of the winter season is within the grasp of father winter. The temperatures have been lowered to the minus category. Although the air is frozen the warmth of family, friends and the fellowship of all is more then enough to bring comfort to a weary soul.
The Christmas season is upon us, "happy holidays" are being said and our response is simply, "Merry Christmas".
So, from the snow covered peaks of Colorado, Merry Christmas, God bless.

THANKSgiving
Two words placed together, both meaning something special, but the event usually happens in reverse... you receive or give and are offered the thanks... this celebration is the reverse of the words. We give thanks for the bounty we have received and give the blessing of thanks to all who are present.
THANKSgiving started by our fore-fathers, sustained by our generation and given to the future in humble thanks.

Saturday's Thoughts
Today is Saturday, yesterday was a day of meetings and dialogue. Last night, when I arrived home, I tried to hook up a cell repeater for our house. It did not work... story of my life.
So, today I will try again and see what happens. The positive (and there are lots of positive things about this project) is the fact I am working with a company of concerned employees. A call last night, a call today. They want to fix my issue and make the product work. Isn't that what we as Christians are called to do?
